This national public infrastructure provider, was looking to drive the next step of its business transformation to meet P3M3 goals. Their approach was to improve the quality in programme delivery, across their supplier base, cost management, requirements management and customer management. As part of their business transformation, our team worked closely with business, stakeholders and Subject matter experts to help the business deliver
- An end-to-end digital customer journey that reduces customer calls and enables customers to self-serve.
- IT infrastructure modernization to reduce legacy/technical debt, and provide agility in delivery, and
- Escalate the delivery of an improved technological footprint to support customer journeys, while increasing productivity and reduce cost.
This included
- Assisting with the planning activities for the organization's Technical Services.
- Providing market/sector insight to vendor management.
- Ensuring new services and suppliers were aligned with corporate objectives, and aligned to the the Target Operating Model
- Provide assistance with the business case, governance, and compliance of services and delivery. Alignment with GDS, as well as adherence to CCS concepts and processes
To ensure success in the delivery, day to day we supported the
- Creating of ITT documentation for suppliers and conducting sourcing efforts.
- Creating procurement/bid/clarification documents as part of the process.
- Establishment of quantitative criteria for evaluating supplier responses.
- Managing responses and assisting businesses in evaluating them, ensuring that the assessment criteria were followed and the evaluation was correctly scored.
- Served as a crucial friend to the program team, assisting with managing many large suppliers, negotiating and ensuring progress.
- Transformation point of contact for ICT related procurement and vendor management activities.
With 8 new key service deployed, the organisation has managed to improve it core delivery capabilities, and enhance the delivery of its majore infrastructure projects.
